Mold Damage – Englewood Laundry Room

Mold damage originated behind the appliances in this Englewood laundry room. The drain line from the washing machined backed up repeatedly, but not enough for the residents to notice. However, the walls wicked up the excess moisture and provided the perfect conditions for mold infestation. We needed to remove the appliances and have a plumber clean the drain to start. We then built a containment area to prevent mold spores from dispersing throughout the house during the cleanup project. Next, we needed to remove damaged sections of the drywall so we could dry and treat the interior sections of damaged wallboard.
